For the renewal and laying of switches in the railway network, Bahnbau Group has the most advanced machines available.

With the high-speed track relaying train (SUZ 500 UVR), Bahnbau Group has the technology to lay sleepers and rails using continuous assembly line techniques. Used and new sleepers are transferred by conveyor belts and runners equipped with gantry cranes to and from the track materials wagon.

KRC 810 T crane for track and bridge construction

  • Quantity: 2 (DGT)
  • The KRC 810 T is the latest generation of rail-mounted crane for the construction of tracks and bridges.
  • It is particularly suited to the installation of switches mounted on concrete sleepers
  • Fully automatic self-levelling system to compensate for cant
  • Operational on up to 160 mm canted track possible with no reduction in carrying capacity

In addition to the SUZ 500 UVR track relaying train, Bahnbau Group owns 2 SUM-Q track laying machines and 3 PK 1-20 machines. There is also an UWG track laying machine and a large number of rail-mounted slewing cranes with carrying capacities of up to 125 metric tons.
