Command and control technology is the heart of the railway system and is essential if it is used effectively. In this business area, DB Bahnbau GmbH, with its broad range of services, is a recognised and respected business partner.

In the command and control technology business area Bahnbau Group, and in particular DB Bahnbau GmbH, provides new build and upgrading, modification and extension, dismantling and repair services for command and control systems. We implement efficiency improvement schemes and processes designed to support construction work, prepare installation concepts for trackside equipment and clear damage in the event of accidents.

One example taken from the range of services we provide

We were commissioned by Bombardier Transportation, as part of the construction of a new electronic signal box on the Mannheim - Rheinau line, with the erection of the outdoor equipment including the necessary cable routing civil engineering work. Contract value: approx. EUR 2 million. The work was carried out from January 1999 to March 2001.

Within Bahnbau Group, theses services are provided by DB Bahnbau GmbH.
